My mind is set to the tragedy of the world,
And yet I give a shining personality.
Sadness filling all the corners of my mind,
And yet I give a blinding smile.
The tears rolling down my cheeks leaves a glittering trail,
And yet no one sees them.
Through other's eyes I see pure bliss,
And yet utter ignorance of the world around them.
I see pain all around me,
And yet I can't do anything.
I stand alone,
And yet my mind is full of others.
I care so much,
And yet others don't see that.
I am still against the waves of emotions,
And yet I am in utter turmoil inside.
Around me happiness swells,
And yet I'm left in despair.
