The time for spooks and candy is done!
The air has turned colder.
The leaves have begun to fall more rapidly.
Ah!
That means it is time for the feast of thanks!
A time to be grateful for others.
A time to enjoy family and friends.
Right?.....
No.
It can’t be.
We still have another holiday!
Why are you here now!!!
The stores,
Littered with crimson reds and poisonous greens.
A “jolly” tone in the air.
Which is just a flimsy cover for monetary greed.
That holiday isn’t near just yet,
But it has overtaken everything like a plague.
Soon everything will sing its harrowing chorus.
And it will be too late once again…
