I am but a speck of blue in a sea of red.
At first it was a swath of many different colors.
With hues of Violet, Green, Yellow, Pink, and Turquoise too.
This sea that shimmers like a kaleidoscope,
Is filled with such determination and hope.
And yet.
These last few years have been filled with deceit and fear.
Like sharks in the water,
They slowly turn this ocean crimson.
One by one,
This shimmering body was soon filled with dread and despair.
Soon all there is left,
Is blood and predators.
Due to carelessness and ignorance,
We let these Great Whites have their way.
We allowed them to mass,
To spread their propagandas to sway others to join their horde.
What can we do to survive this Shiver?
Hold firm and try to not let them see us quiver.
Hold tight other specks of Blue.
For these next few years we will be tried and need to stay true.
