The shimmering white of the stars had fallen on us through the night,
In the morn we see a new fantastical world.
The trees that were dark and an ashen shell of themselves,
Are now glittering alive with a new light.
The ground that is brown and baron,
Is covered in a blanket of frozen crystals.
The air that was once warm and pleasant,
Is now filled with chills and shivers.
A Winter’s Morn has graced our presents,
And there is nothing better to awake to after a cozy night of slumber.
