The End To A Silent Month

     Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well and even having a good Memorial Day weekend if you are here in the states like me. As the title of this post says, I will finally be returning back to posting here on my writing blog. After the April Poetry Month Challenge I desperately needed a long break from writing. Writing is fun for me and when I have ideas of what I want to write it comes to me better than when I force myself to write, as typical of most people. However I've been forcing myself to write during the April and February Challenges and those took a heavy toll on me. I felt like I had to write , but not for myself, for everyone else. Be it everyone here that reads my work or friends and loved ones who want to support me. I've constantly was also trying to maintain a schedule for posts here as well, which also took its fair share of the toll.

    After a little over of a month of trying my best to relax, I think I'm at a point where I can begin to write again, but slowly. Possibly once or twice a month. However if I do write more, then more will be posted of course. I want to enjoy writing again. Enjoy the feeling of creating worlds or lines of words that create a feeling within someone. Even if that only someone is myself. I also want to slowly become more comfortable with the idea of posting my work more into the eyes of other people through different means of social media. I personally have a hard time doing so and have a great amount of anxiety when doing it. I understand it is silly to be so anxious to post things online. Especially when people are following you for those posts. But I can't help feeling like I am burdening others when I do it. It is something personal that I need to over come if I want to take a more serious stance with my writing. 

    There are still many other things that still hinder me when it comes to writing, but hopefully in due time I can work on those things slowly and become a much better writer for myself and maybe of others too. However this can only happen with determination and with the course of time. As they say "Rome wasn't built in a day". One day though, I hope to writing something as rememberable or close to rememberable as I can to Rome in someone's mind. One day perhaps, one day.
